We couldn’t wait for the professional photos — we’re just too excited to share that PHNX Yosemite is officially complete! This stunning 2,500-square-foot net-zero concrete home is the latest milestone in PHNX Development’s growing portfolio of Type IA non-combustible single-family homes designed to stand up to the realities of wildfire country.
Nestled on Pine Mountain Lake near Yosemite National Park, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath home embodies what we stand for: durable, sustainable housing that doesn’t compromise on beauty or connection to nature. Built on a steep, rocky 40-degree slope with remote access — all while facing eight wildfires in the area during construction — the project was finished on time and on budget, in just one year.
Wildfire-Safe, Sustainable Living
PHNX Yosemite isn’t just about surviving fire season — it’s about living well, year-round. The home’s open floor plan and panoramic windows bring in expansive lake views, while an additional 900 square feet of outdoor living space lets residents enjoy the incredible surroundings.
While nothing is ever 100% fireproof, a Type IA noncombustible PHNX Home is as close as you can get — and we have the building code behind us. It’s peace of mind that no other single-family home builder can offer.
